OPIUO, a New Zealand-born Australian resident has been turning the world upside down for years with his brilliant blend of funk and filthy bass productions. Now he has added an assemblage of ninjas to his touring party to bring the live sounds that the funk demands: The Opiuo Band. With the return of The Opiuo Band, fun-loving funky beat chef known as JPOD will be cooking up some tunes that are sure to set the flavor right for the night. Coming fresh off of Boogaloo music and arts festival, JPOD the beat chef will be bringing his ever evolving style, live remixing skills and cutting edge track selection to the table providing a perfect platform for the night. Just released: Motion Potion will be opening the show. !

Saturday, June 11 • HUSHfest: The Panhandle feat. JPOD
On Saturday, we present Canadian superstar JPOD “the Beat Chef”, a man whose productions seem to drip with sunshine. He will be joined by a swath of SF DJs who have deep roots in the Haight Ashbury. The old days of Nickie’s BBQ will be represented by MOTION POTION, DJ PAUSE, DJ PHLECK and TOM THUMP. Added to this will be Space Cowboy DJ MANCUB, disco producer SHOUTS! and eclectic beat smiths SEX PIXELS. Be advised, due to environmental and neighborhood impact considerations there will only be a few hundred tickets sold to this event. Please buy advance and do so quickly before we sell out. This is an all ages event and all patrons must be ticketed.
