Phleck
Phleck
DJ Phleck has been a fixture in the San Francisco music scene for well over a decade. A Bay Area native and a true master of his craft Phleck brings thoughtful selection, precise technical mixing and an undeniable vibe to every set he plays. Alongside his Janky Barge family, Phleck is also known for being one of the founding DJs and organizers of the now nationally recognized & multi-city event known as Motown on Mondays (M.O.M.).
Steve Fabus
Steve Fabus
Steve Fabus, one of the first nationally recognized US DJs from the West Cost, began his career playing loft parties and the baths of late '70s San Francisco. Already the Counter Cultural Capital of America, home of the North Beach Beats and Haight-Ashbury hippie movement, it had recently become the epicenter of sexual liberation. Under the fireworks of social and political change, Steve played parties whose guest list included pre-disco Sylvester, then a member of the radical drag troupe "The Cockettes", and Harvey Milk, who would become America's first openly gay politician. San Francisco was one big, energized party then, hosted by a growing gay subculture that was throwing one gigantic, energized party for the world.

While playing the city’s infamous all-night loft party, Boiler Room in 1977, Steve was recruited to spin San Francisco's first large venue disco, The I-Beam. Trocadero Transfer opened shortly thereafter where Steve shared the booth with Bobby Viteritti. In 1980, Steve became a resident of San Francisco’s legendary EndUp. His shift was the 6 am to 2 am slot on Sunday mornings and many people credit him for starting what is still known to this day as "Church". It was here that Steve put the edge on his early morning sound with tracks like D-Train's 1982 release, "You're The One For Me".

Offered residencies at both River Club and Tracks, Steve moved to New York City in 1983. There, he also played at the wild, after-hours club, Anvil and (Studio 54 Owner) Steve Rubell's 80's mega-club, Palladium. Steve was inspired by many of the great DJs of this pinnacle period of Dance Music, from Larry Levan and David DePino at The Paradise Garage and Tracks, to Robbie Leslie at The Saint. Disco morphed into Garage and House on Steve's Sundays at Tracks, where the night would not end until Monday morning.

In 1988 Steve moved back to San Francisco to reopen Dreamland, and not long after, joined forces with promoter Gus Bean at new House club, Crew at the the former Trocadero space. Steve then moved to Los Angeles in 1990 and quickly became a resident at Axis, Factory, Asylum and Pulse, and often played at Probe and the legendary afterhours club, Does Your Mama Know?

Steve moved back to his beloved San Francisco in the late nineties where he is now a resident & guiding force of GO BANG!, and guests at Honey Soundsystem, Tubesteak Connection, Casablanca/Underground SF, and other clubs and events.
DeeJay Theory
DeeJay Theory
Repping Faction Sound Crew and leading online Caribbean lifestyle magazine LargeUp.com, Deejay Theory continues to push the DJ / producer role forward in his homebase of San Francisco, CA and throughout the world. Creating music all his life and now a key player in the explosive tropical bass movement, Theory has a natural strength for flipping a broad range of material, putting his signature touch on everything from Busy Signal to Alex Clare to Santana. Think dancehall meets dance music, bass meets soul, turntablism meets club, tropical disco meets the pool, a nd we're literally just getting warm.

Years of dedication and passion brought Theory to where he is today, and the love and labor shows. S upport has been massive with a schedule of US and international bookings and some of the top DJ's, producers and tastemakers in the industry sharing Theory's work on global airwaves, stages and blogs. Day in and day out, from the studio to the club, you know you're getting strictly quality from this dude every time, and although you're never really sure what to expect, the product, skills and devotion remain the same...and the people are ready for more.
Motion Potion
Motion Potion
MoPo is a master craftsman and his building material is the world’s most precious commodity: TIME. Consider yourself fortunate If you get a chance catch a Motion Potion DJ set these days. An enormous amount of thought, planning, and scheming has to occur to make them happen. MoPo approaches his shows like a college professor, or a football coach, putting hours of preparation and thought into exactly who will be listening, and how exactly to reach into their souls. Every set is different, and each can unfold in hundreds of different ways, and this intense focus on preparation makes him so versatile, so intense, and so much damn fun. These are “DJ sets” in the classic sense, unfolding like poems with every song a word and every mix or drop a bit of punctuation. Once known as the “DJ for people who hate DJ’s” it would be more accurate to say that this is the DJ for those who love live music.
Tom Thump
Tom Thump

biggest, and best club nights, such as, Release, Budonkadonk!, Twice as Nice, Mushroom Jazz and Loose Joints!. Often boundary pushing, always satisfying.
U9lift
U9lift
U9lift (aka Ben maybe) grew up on a mountain top outside of Willits CA, and after moving through a series of destination locations he was lured to the bright lights of San Francisco. Rave scenes and club dreams exploded off of the dot com boom transforming the city a wonderland of musical diversity. However bright lights soon turned into dark nights as the boom went bust. The ever evolving dance scene solidified as people began to fear the instability of the unknown, many of the smaller genres died off and the larger ones strived to develop radio stations and "top seller" charts. U9lift (Ben maybe) is the resurrection of musical exploration, music that defies genre yet defines emotion. U9lift the underground, a struggle to create a new sound.
4NR
4NR
4NR (the alter ego of Matt Haze) is a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, covered in stylish facial hair. One of the most forward- thinking DJs emerging from the San Francisco scene, 4NR is a treasure trove of musical versatility. Rubbing the decks with a marinade of cutting edge beats and old school vibes, 4NR is difficult to classify, but impossible to resist.
Gordo Cabeza
Gordo Cabeza
As founder of MOM (Motown On Mondays) Parties & Events, which is now a weekly happening in 17 cities across the United States, with international chapters as well, DJ Gordo Cabeza is not new to spreading his passion for good music far and wide. What could arguably be called the largest weekly dance party ever being just a part of what he has on his plate, Gordo is constantly at work, good thing for him work = love. Taking the Spanish name for "fat head", in an attempt to avoid taking himself too seriously, he has made some serious accomplishments in his years behind the tables. Long a fixture in one of the top DJ cities in the world (SF), with a brand known around the world, it seems this is just the beginning.
DJ Tyme
DJ Tyme

King Most
King Most
DJ King Most got his start in music over 12 years ago, when he caught the DJ bug from his older brother. For years he paid his dues deejaying house parties, school dances and lugging around equipment until finally he became one of the consistently booked dj's in the San Francisco bay area. Armed with a record collection and tastes that span every genre and style (Hip-Hop, Soul, Disco, Latin, etc), King Most can be frequently seen and heard bringing classic anthems and new sounds to the masses up and down the west coast. DJ Centipede of Mophono
DJ Centipede of Mophono
Mophono, who set out to master the machines that threatened to be the masters of men, was born in 1976 in the Bay Area. From his early childhood he showed a strong passion for science, math and music. He was to be an inventor/engineer, but music had the greater gravitational pull, and he finally devoted himself to electronic music.
Mophono aka DJ Centipede wanted “to take the mystery out of the legend that says electronic music is an art that is esoteric, exclusively reserved for a few initiates, an elite of avant-garde intellectuals and artists” he adds “it deserves to be raised to the level of popular music, a music designed for fun and relaxation” and so Circuit studios was born in Lower Haight, San Francisco for the experimental researches of Thug Jazz and Dirt Wave.
While electronic and sample based music matured In the nineties, so did Mophono’s career as the most successful experimental electronic dance music DJ in the bay area. Booked at many of the underground raves until April of 1998 when one Oakland warehouse dance floor collapsed during one of his epic DJ sets, ending an era and starting a new one. DJ Centipede aka Mophono then focused his attention on the growing bay area beat scene, perfected his production and beat juggling skills while promoting San Francisco’s most forward thinking events.
Since then Mophono has released two full length albums and a slew of singles giving birth to two new genre’s Thug Jazz and Dirt Wave and a new standard in the record industry called Skip on Beat.
Inspired by 60’s psyche and experimental electronic music, Mophono Is known for his destructive drum breaks and heavy and orchestral instrumental compositions. With his legendary weekly “Change the Beat” party in San Francisco, Mophono is so deep in the beat culture melting pot he is stirring it. Performing live at the Brainfeeder festival (Flying Lotus brain child) with long time partner Gaslamp Killer and sharing the stage with DJ Shadow Amon Tobin, Edan, DJ Food, DJ Krush, Dabrye, Diplo and De La Soul with his Skip on Beat records, drum machines and moogs, Mophono intends to set a new standard in live electronic music performance.
