APRIL 18, 5PM, ROOM 416 | SF BOARD of PERMIT APPEALSSUPPORT LIVE NIGHTTIME MUSIC at TUPELO (1337 Grant Ave) After 40+ years of live music at 1337 Grant, 7 years of Entertainment Permits for Mojito, and the enthusiastic grant of a new entertainment permit to Tupelo, an SF Zoning Administrator has rescinded all of these permits on a dubious technicality. At the behest of a local conservative PAC, the ZA asserts that 1337 Grant was never zoned for nighttime entertainment despite decades of history, numerous city-issued permits, and years of flawless operation.
