HUSHconcerts is proud to present this annual benefit for the JANKY BARGE featuring DJ ICEY. The creator of "Florida Breaks" ICEY is considered the godfather of American breakbeat with more than 100 releases over the past 2 decades and live sets that are without peer. Joining him will be some of our most notable local heroes, including The Armory Podcast's ZACH MOORE and SFFunk's MOTION POTION. Janky Barge residents on the scene will include SHOUTS!, MATT HAZE, PHLECK, SNARKLE, ILLALIEN, FLYTRAP, BEATO and CHUCK JONES. The Janky Barge is one of the Burning Man Community's most enduring and beloved artcars. Known for eclectic, music and a crew that never stops rocking, the Barge has been a staple on the scene for 9 years. We are proud to throw on the whites and help the Barge raise money to continue its ill-advised mission of well-intended mayhem. Advance tickets are available at www.HUSHconcerts.com. Get yours NOW.

DJ Icey
DJ Icey
Born and raised in Florida, DJ Icey has been mesmerized by electronic music ever since hearing the synthesizer breakdown on The Edgar Winter Group’s "Frankenstein." "My mom had that album and I would play that middle part over and over wondering how they made that sound,” Icey recounts. “I was little and thought it was so cool."
Rising to worldwide prominence out of the fertile Orlando Florida electronic music scene, Icey cut his teeth at the legendary EDGE nightclub, and even persuaded The Chemical Brothers to play their first show Stateside there.
Icey runs his Indie label, Zone Records, which is dedicated to the Breaks he loves. When vinyl ruled the DJ'ing landscape, Zone sold a hundred thousand pieces of wax up until the label went all digital in 2008. Zone Records release schedule is relentless and consistently garners Top 10 Beatport sales in Breaks. His label has expanded to include multiple musical genres in remix and original form.
Playing 100+ gigs per year, Icey is a touring maniac. But that doesn’t keep him out of the studio during the week working on new tracks for his indie imprint, constantly trying to push the envelope to make his fans sweat on the dance floor. Icey's live DJ shows are legendary and always include massive amounts of originals, remixes and re-rubs that are exclusive to his sets. The music is the output of his addiction to the recording studio.
Icey's remixes have garnered Top 5 placings on Hype Machine's Twitter Top 100 chart multiple times, most recently with his bass fueled re-working of Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Heads Will Roll." DJ icey has produced a weekly satellite radio show in North America since 2006, first on Sirius's Boombox channel and currently on Sirius XM's Electric Area channel, entitled "Automatic Static." It is one of the most popular dance mix shows on satellite radio.
2011 sees DJ Icey release "Flash the Message," a 17 track album that includes 12 originals long side a handful of remix and re-rub action. The album combines the sounds and vibes of multi-genres, vocals and instrumentals, which are all expertly tied together with his renowned broken beat, bass heavy sound.
DJ Zach Moore
DJ Zach Moore
As a member and resident of Space Cowboys, DJ Zach Moore spins events from San Francisco to the Black Rock Desert to New York City and beyond. Zach is also known as the creator of The Armory Podcast and for his work on The RIPEcast, the Space Cowboys’ Breakspoll-nominated, electronic music podcast.
Motion Potion
Motion Potion
MoPo is a master craftsman and his building material is the world’s most precious commodity: TIME. Consider yourself fortunate If you get a chance catch a Motion Potion DJ set these days. An enormous amount of thought, planning, and scheming has to occur to make them happen. MoPo approaches his shows like a college professor, or a football coach, putting hours of preparation and thought into exactly who will be listening, and how exactly to reach into their souls. Every set is different, and each can unfold in hundreds of different ways, and this intense focus on preparation makes him so versatile, so intense, and so much damn fun. These are “DJ sets” in the classic sense, unfolding like poems with every song a word and every mix or drop a bit of punctuation. Once known as the “DJ for people who hate DJ’s” it would be more accurate to say that this is the DJ for those who love live music.
Shouts!
Shouts!
Shouts! is a project by San Francisco bass music producer Jason C Apple. After many years of producing as Ground Control, Shouts! was created as an outlet for his weirder, more emotive music that nevertheless works a dance floor. Focusing on deep house and garage, more than anything, Shouts! is about trying to figure out how sound becomes a feeling.

Part of the Hot N Heavy Recordings crew, Shouts! first EP, "Do Your Thing" was released on January 23rd, 2013. He has since released his remix of Mako's "Tropicality" on Hot N Heavy, as well as a garage rework of Sirkus Sirkuz and March Against's "The Tempest" on 9G Records. Visit his Soundcloud for numerous free downloads and edits of Jessie Ware, the XX, and more.
Matt Haze

Matt Haze is a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, covered in stylish facial hair. One of the most forward- thinking DJs emerging from the San Francisco scene, Haze is a treasure trove of musical versatility. Rubbing the decks with a marinade of cutting edge beats and old school vibes, Haze is difficult to classify, but impossible to resist. He is best known for his work with SF’s Slayers Club collective, dropping his crazily eclectic kitchen sink sets wherever the spirit carries him and the bassbins follow.
Phleck
Phleck
DJ Phleck has been a fixture in the San Francisco music scene for well over a decade. A Bay Area native and a true master of his craft Phleck brings thoughtful selection, precise technical mixing and an undeniable vibe to every set he plays. Alongside his Janky Barge family, Phleck is also known for being one of the founding DJs and organizers of the now nationally recognized & multi-city event known as Motown on Mondays (M.O.M.).
Snarkle
Snarkle
Evan was introduced to the electronic music scene through the underground rave scene in downtown Los Angeles and later the SF Bay area music scenes. Heavily influenced by house and techno, he unleashed his signature sound on the Playa with the Janky Barge, and Snarkle was born. Focusing on the synthesis of uplifting melodies and dark, impelling beats, Snarkle promises to drive your feet to the dance floor and your heart to the clouds.
Flytrap
Flytrap
Growing up in San Francisco Sean was introduced to the live music scene at a young age. With relatives playing in various bands he was exposed to all different genres. His main influence comes from funk, motown, blues, rock and his all time favorite metal. He later fell in love with the rave scene, especially with drum and bass for its high energy sound. But with all of his musical taste he brings that energy to anything he spins. After years of only DJing for friends and mix tapes he played his first set on the playa with the Janky Barge. Flytrap is guaranteed to get the dance floor jumping.
