SFFUNK: MoM (JB’s Tribute Night)

SF FUNK FEST returns to the city’s hottest funk DJ night, MoM, Motown on Mondays at Madrone Art Lounge on Monday, November 5. The night will feature a trubute to the JB’s and the James Brown family. DJ’s will explore the music of Brown, the JB’s Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker, Bobby Byrd, Hank Ballard and all of the many remixes, samples, and imitators. Tickets can only be purchased at the door and this event sells out weekly. Get there early, doors at 9.
