Developed in the 1980s, ‘Silent Disco’ concept made it’s U.S. debut at the 2005 Bonnaroo Festival, where resident Dj and Silent Frisco founder Robbie “MoPo” Kowal (pictured) introduced the user-friendly technology to ecstatic audiences seeking additional late night programming. Since then, Kowal, and Silent Frisco team have been pushing this unique concept at dozens of major U.S. music and arts festivals.
