Sunset SF & the Janky Barge bring you our 7th annual celebration of spring known as FREQO de MAYO. A celebration of flowers, colors and rejuvenation, in its 6 years, Freqo has featured a host of luminary names such as Bassnectar, Tipper and Adam Freeland. For the 7th edition we are honored to welcome ground breaking bass-music legend FREQ NASTY for an exclusive set on the Funktion1 system at Public Works. Joining him will be globetrotting ESL Music superstar and Turntables on the Hudson founder NICKODEMUS. Once of the most innovative mashers of South American electronic music EL PAPACHANGO will be back at Freqo for for his fourth appearance at the event. From the Janky Barge family, we are proud to feature Addictech phenom DIGItAL RUST, and local heroes like U9LIFT, MOPO, LOKAE, HONEY KNUCKLES and GROUND CONTROL. There will be two banging rooms all night, plus all the colorful costumes and twisted Mexi-tronic decor that has become associated with this annual descent into madness.
